I'm going to miss my Molly girl. She greeted me at the door everyday and sat on my lap in the evenings when I watched TV. If her dish wasn't full of food, she'd cry until I filled it up. She never wanted to be without food.
I feel really bad because I've been complaining about cat hair the last couple weeks. I usually vacuum every day and when I was sick a few weeks ago, I didn't get to it everyday and I was just disgusted by the hair. I don't just have Molly, but I have her "kitten" CB. She's not a kitten anymore, she's 15 now. She was right by her side laying down when I found Molly. It just broke my heart. She's never known a world without her mother. Poor girl.
Tonight I'm watching TV without my girl and I'm just sad.

Awwww, I'm so sorry! She died so peacefully, though, and she quite obviously lived a life filled with so much love and warmth. We recently had to put my childhood German Shepherd down. That pain is still so fresh, so I truly feel what you're going through.

Oh, hun, I'm so very sorry! Your heart must be aching for your precious girl. So many wonderful memories you have, and what an amazing life she lived, and what a peaceful way to go. Jennifer I am so sorry. :( I lost my kitty a couple of weeks ago too. It is so hard to lose a pet. They become so much a part of our lives and our families. It isn't any less painful than losing a good friend.

Jennifer, I am so sad for you. The Howertons have always treasured pets as wonderful and special parts of the family, so losing them is so so hard. I am glad that she had such a happy life with you. I will be thinking of you and saying prayers for you about losing your Molly. Love. Karla

My inlaws had three cats: Gma, Mom, Baby. They were all in the same age-range as your "baby" and passed away with not much warning, too. So hard and difficult to deal with for sure!
